If you are walking the Camino de Santiago or travelling through the area, at La Puerta de Arzúa you find a great accommodation. Inaugurated in April 2022, it offers guests a perfect place to rest before arriving at Santiago de Compostela. Arzúa is one of the last stages of the Camino de Santiago. It is here that the ‘Camino Francés, the ‘Camino Primitivo’ and ‘Camino del Norte’ converge.

Arzúa and the Camino de Santiago
The Camino Francés and the Camino del Norte converge in Arzúa, a town that is irremediably linked to the Camino de Santiago and influenced by it.
Arzúa is one of the main towns on the Camino Francés. It is located at the end of the Palas – Arzúa stage and the beginning of the Arzúa – Pedrouzo stage, so pilgrims gather in its streets before completing the last steps of their Camino before reaching the Cathedral of Santiago.
In Arzúa, the Camino de Santiago passes through meadows and areas with oaks and eucalyptus trees that surround small hamlets.
